Surprised Cipriani was even playing to be able to land the pen after his latest scrape. Boy really does have his head up his own arse.

Hurricanes vs Crusaders - NP though Crusaders
Waratahs vs Reds

Stormers vs Lions
Somehow I had it in my head that the team listed second was the home team. So I backed the Blues.

Will be more careful in the future -

Somewhat ironic that after we'd mocked them all week following their massive loss against the Waratahs, the Rebels squeezed a one-point win against the Brumbies in their second match last night. Certainly didn't predict that (had the Brumbies 13+ on the virtual rugby) nor did I expect the Highlanders to beat a rather poor Chiefs side to make it 2 wins on the trot this season - thats as many victories as Otago managed in the entire 2010 ITM Cup!
Yeah, the Highlanders have done me twice in two weeks. Chiefs really do play dumb rugby, never seen a side love throwing hospital passes on their own try line as much as they do.

Surprised by the Rebels. Maybe the Tahs are better than I thought.

Juan Smith returning for the Cheetahs against the Bulls lasted all of 2 minutes before tearing his Achilles. Now a major doubt for the WC. Big blow for the Boks.

Heard about this a few days ago - as much as I'd love NZ to demolish everyone this year I think thats a real shame for the Springboks to lose Smith for potentially the entire season. Given his bad injury run thats even more disappointing. If the decision were up to me and he was fit, I'd include him without a doubt in the best XV that South Africa could currently field.

Plenty of matches that could go either way this weekend IMO. Vimes, Social and Hurricane still to tip; they'll get the home sides by default for any matches they miss.

No question. Would have him a World XI tbh. Only Kaino can compare.

@Somerset I think the team listed first is always the home team - figured it out now.
Yes, thats the way I tend to put the fixtures. ;)

Impressive effort from the Crusaders tonight to beat the Tahs. After the two early tries to the Waratahs I was beginning to question whether the events surrounding the match were going to adversely affect the Crusaders' chances but was extremely pleased to see them fire up. Fruean and SBW were lethal in the middle sections of the match, they're so dynamic that they'll cause just as many problems for defences in Super 15 as they did during the Air New Zealand Cup.
