Only following on cricinfo but it sound a shucking fambles from us. The no-ball for not enough in the circle is just schoolgirl stuff.

Kudos to the Orangemen tho and, objectively, this is exactly what a moribund tournament needs. Just a shame it's against us.

Highest total by an associate versus a top eight test nation I assume?

Why is everyone saying 'well that was fun but England'll knock this off easy'? This is England in a World Cup (any sport except Rugby), of course we won't knock this off easy, if at all.

I was going to say that we may be okay for the rest of the tournament cause we started off with a nearly embarrassing game against Ireland in the T20 World Cup last year before rain interrupted. Then I remembered we won't be al right because we're ****.

:laugh::laugh:...even as an England fan the sheer astronomical levels of Schadenfreude involved in this performance were completely hilarious. The proverbial cherry on top of the cake came with Swann's embarassing miss in the last over mind. Just when you felt it couldn't reach new levels of ineptitude...it did! Awesome innings from Ten Doeschate though, WAG.

Not entirely confident about the chase either TBH, generally when England bowl and field terribly we don't usually bat particularly well either. The virus tends to spread rapidly through the team, if you will.

I think from Collingwood, Trott and Strauss is where most of England's are gonna come from, if they don't make the runs then England could be in real trouble here.

Yeah, unless Pietersen, Bell, Bopara and Prior score them of course.

Really gave the tournament a kick start I reckon.
It would if it wasn't 2 weeks too long, a month to complete the first phase is a joke. Got a horrible feeling many people will grow tired of the fact that the thing lasts for far too long.

This is the kind of thing that we will miss when they reduce the number of teams. I, for one, think the tournament will be lessened in their absence.

agree 100%. any world cup of any sport inthe world has a large group of so called minnows that compete. it's part of the charm of the world cup. take that away and it just becomes a shootout betweenthe regular teams.

icc displaying again why they're a bunch of tards

I see the masterplan of doing our utmost to convince everyone else that there is no planning whatsoever involved in England's ODI cricket continues perfectly.

Hahaha wow, how good was that? Most fun I've had watching an ODI in a while.

Even if England cruise home, it's still awesome/hilarious.
This. Was watching with a bit of a group and it was so much fun. Carn the Dutch.
