before last friday the official essendon site - essendonfc.com.au - was our own independently run site - it wasn't a telstra operated one like the other 15 sites. (the essendon site linked on the afl site - bombersfc.com or something - was a fake one pretty much). this meant we had our own video player, our own writers etc. so instead of getting a nice sum - not quite 500K but in the hundreds of thousands - for the site from telstra/bigpond/afl like the other 15 clubs we were pretty much playing for it. now i liked this set-up. we had stories written for essendon fans, we weren't stuck with the ****ty bigpond player which overseas bomber fans can't even use. we had a good site. now we're gonna have a terrible one.

you are just so bitter - always complaining about how you created friday night football and now never play it. a promising kid from another kid gets mentioned and north fans storm in and mention their kids. mention how a team had a good match on the weekend "north played better!/pfft we thrashed them when we played them!" etc - per capita you have more **** fans than collingwood.
