Well he is no Glenn McGrath, but he has done a fair job in the recent past. I reckon you're selling him short a little. I'd have him over Sreesanth in ODIs at any rate.

Chawla pretty much singlehandedly bowled out Australia and he is not playing - that is an injustice. Two pace bowlers and the rest as spinners is simply the best strategy for India, atm. Pace bowlers on slow pitches are often fodder, especially if you do not have the guile or consistency of Zaheer, Munaf, or to move away from India - the sheer skill of a Stuart Broad.

Other than Sreesanth and the part-timer, Yuvraj, India have bowled very well.

The dew factor may have dissuaded Dhoni from playing two spinners. I don't think it was that bad a move - we do have two-three part-time spin options to fall back on.

Agrees with this. Chawla should have been playing in place of Sreesanth. Its hard work for the fast bowlers out there and i don't see any change in this tournament. Probably the dew factor was the only thing which may have prevented his inclusion in the side.
