After Beijing and even the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in Delhi, the bar had been set pretty high. The ICC have failed here. I have no idea why the people of Dhaka have paid to see this live at the ground.

He would've just had Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan make celebrity cameos and dance. Not sure that it would've been much better but maybe the lighting and effects would've been of a higher standard.

Might've been better than the other parts as it added a bit of that colour and energy you're talking about, but they were just waving their hands around and doing the bare minimum required for a "bhangra" performance.
