Yeah, agreed. Definitely needs to get some time in the middle in the next warmup game(s), but would have preferred him to face a quality attack like Australia's. Anyway.Don't want to question the great man's judgment or anything but does anyone else think he is kind of taking things for granted as far ODI's are concerned.
He has hardly played any ODI cricket after his knock of 200 and I think he is kind of pushing his luck a bit coming into such a huge tournament with so little game time. Obviously he is an ATG and he might still very well go and and score truckload of runs but still this approach from him seems quite unlike the Sachin we have grown up seeing.
Yep, who was it that said his keeping against spin isn't all that good? He's an excellent stumper.Dhoni Has to be best stumper now a days...........He never takes his hand back while gathering...and removes the bails in a flash.......
Has dropped a few catches in tests last year. Has always been gun at getting batsmen stumped.Yep, who was it that said his keeping against spin isn't all that good? He's an excellent stumper.
I would say neither team looked very good TBH... but then these warmup games only serve the purpose of identifying potential weaknesses, and possible options (like Chawla) who could play a role later on if conditions suit.India looking very good and Australia looking dire tbh
will most of the pitches in the WC be like this?I would say neither team looked very good TBH... but then these warmup games only serve the purpose of identifying potential weaknesses, and possible options (like Chawla) who could play a role later on if conditions suit.
Dunno.. it was a good ODI pitch. Hopefully there'll be something for the bowlers in most of the wickets. Probably won't happen though.will most of the pitches in the WC be like this?
Aus were 118 for 1 after 21.4 overs. They choked but they dominated the game up until then and it was India who looked dire. India’s top order failed again and they got over the line through the help of 3 frontline spinners but if they persist on playing 3 quicks, they won’t have the luxury of that in the WC.India looking very good and Australia looking dire tbh
Tbh... the wicket was pretty poor for a LO game, in the 2nd half the ball was virtually jumping up from a good length area for almost every spinner and some balls were also keeping low.Lol, how the **** did we win this?
Good for the Tiger Kings XI too.The good thing for Australia is that Ricky Ponting seems to be returning to form
