Harmful actions of players generally only don't really affect my attitude to a sport other than to make me dislike the player. The actions of administrations (or lack thereof) can make me hate a sport.

any tampering or spot fixing no matter how trivial it may seem or is, players involved should be banned for life. for an individaul to believe its no biggie to taint the game to fill their pockets is a person who does not belong in the game or understands the true concept of what a sport game means.
