If you haven't noticed Carrick's been playing as a defensive mid this season then that's not my fault.

If I was wrong then what're the qualities Khedira and Diarra possess?

As far as DM's go, Sami reads the game as well as anyone playing right now. Not spectacular but they guy is class. He's been in a new league for barely half a season, needs some time (which Real fans or their media won't give him) before you see his Stuttgart form reappear. Great in the air and runs his **** off too.

edit: Only 23 as well, would have him at Arsenal in a flash.

Carrick's always been a deep lying playmaker. That's not the same as a holding player.

Carrick just links up the play. It's an important job and he's alright at it but having someone properly good there would make a huge difference.

Think I had Wolves, West Brom and Wigan as my three going down at the beginning of the season. Starting to worry about Blackpool, hopefully they can hold on. David Carney starting won't help.
