If you want to just bag Smith then be my guest, but the kid is a pretty good all-round player its just the matter of giving him some confidence.Yeah, also one of the flattest pitches in the world. Not the best place to judge form, especially for him.
Hussey and Smith bowled mostly rubbish today and got the wickets.
He's a decent LO player I think. Not a test player yet.If you want to just bag Smith then be my guest, but the kid is a pretty good all-round player its just the matter of giving him some confidence.
Given his present role in the side he should be bowling more overs than he has bowled so far in this series, he has kind of a golden arm which is something most decent wrist spinners do possess and to his credit he has done pretty well for us with the white ball whenever he has been given a chance.
I never questioned his abilities in the shorter formats of the game. And I don't believe this "golden arm" myth, it is either because you are a genuinely good bowler or you are just getting lucky. Didn't Clarke have the "golden arm" too? He certainly doesn't have it now.If you want to just bag Smith then be my guest, but the kid is a pretty good all-round player its just the matter of giving him some confidence.

You can be both. Speaking of Both, he was one who was, er, both. Swung it miles in his pomp, but picked up wickets with absolute filth at times, usually when he'd just been introduced.I never questioned his abilities in the shorter formats of the game. Curious he decided to do it mid-series. Seems to be working for him.You can be both. Speaking of Both, he was one who was, er, both. Swung it miles in his pomp, but picked up wickets with absolute filth at times, usually when he'd just been introduced.
Anyway, weird how Shazzer reduced his run and bowled quicker. That's win/win, surely?
Yardy > haters on CW
Faintly surreal effort when Tremmers was introduced. Absolutely minging slog first ball that squirts down to backward square leg for four, digs out a full length ball, another dirty slog across the line onto his pads and then chips one up to extra cover.Love watching Haddin when he actually hits the ball.
Less attractive when he gets bowled our edges it to slips
