Just realised he is actually one the highest scores in ODI cricket last year, so it would be pretty harsh if he is left out of the side for the worldcup which is most likely to be the case, unless they bat him at #7 instead of Pathan. Can anyone see that happening?

If they leave Pathan out they'll bat Kohli at 4, Yuvraj at 5, and Raina/Dhoni at 6/7 depending on the situation. Which is exactly what I'd do. I think they'll play Pathan though.

Yuvi is a confidence player. When he's out of form he looks ugly at pretty much everything he does. When in form everything he does looks awesome. So I won't say he's bad at playing spin (just bad at defending against spinners). But his defensive technique has never been that flash, be it against spinners or fast bowlers.

Nope. And for good reason - he wasn't picked from the domestic scene where you must be good against spin to score a lot of runs - he was picked from the U-19s, and other tournaments where you can get away with being bad at spin.
