Come to think of it, everyone's been very very good in the fielding innings, apart from Tait, and even he's done his bit in a manner of speaking

Dougeh's fitness will make such a difference to Australia in the World Cup. Such a gun in India too.

Hmm - just switched back on. This is what comes of not polishing off teams when you have them 8 for 140. Yet again.

In other news, I wonder if Morgan's loss of form will affect his supposed shoe-in as Colly's replacement in the test side.

Beyond that, we are still soo ****e at the 50 overs game that you wonder why we bother. They'd really be better pissing off back to blighty and putting their feet up for a few months.
We haven't lost a series since September 09, including beating Saffa in Saffa at that time. And I didn't think we were too bad in the last game, outdone by a wonderclass from Watson.

Obviously this hasn't been good enough today, but seriously, let's keep a bit of perspective. It's one game.

Wow, what on earth was Shazhad doing there? Sharp work from all fielders involved though.

And that's game. Quality comeback, and great effort in the field

Healy's saying Australia had the worst of the conditions.. is that a fair assessment? Thought it was a case of England bowling very well and some very poor batting in the morning. Australia still have a lot of room for improvement IMO, but they are showing some great character with individuals really putting in some outstanding performances.

And that's the match.

Awesome win Australia. Peaking at the right time you'd think. We're gonna be pretty dangerous this world cup. Particularly given that we were behind by a long way in both games.

Best fielding effort from us all summer, really.

Classic Australian performance in the field with ball in hand and on the turf

Sure; if the players don't injure themselves over the next few ODIs.

Agree, apart from really today, England have improved a fair bit and like GIMH says when you haven't lost a series since the Ashes 2009, you can't say too much. But this seems to be the usual, win the Ashes loose the Odi's.

The positive thing to come out of this is that despite most things going wrong for us in these first 2 games, we have managed to win and that too pretty convincingly. So hopefully this is the start of something good!!

Man, MOTM between Marsh and Dougeh is going to be soooo close...

EDIT : 4 now! I'd still give it to Marsh. Probably should be shared.
Dougeh!!!

Fmd if Watson took four and got 30 Tubby Taylor would dry hump his leg.

Dougeh!!!

Dougeh.
