I have 13 of them in my list. The two that I don't have were silly omissions. So agree with your prediction fully.i expect the top 15 to be made up of sachin, viv, kallis, wasim, gilchrist, jayasuriya, ponting, garner, pollock, kapil, murali, mcgrath, bevan, lara and warne; and probably in that order.
gooch, pietersen, flintoff, lamb, lillee, sehwag, afridi, lloyd, g.kirsten, dravid, boon, shastri, s,waugh, sarwan, m.clarke, qadir - all excellent ODI players - are likely to miss out. dont think some of them even got nominated.
I had Lamb at no 22.Kallis wont be so high.He is overrated as an odi player.i expect the top 15 to be made up of sachin, viv, kallis, wasim, gilchrist, jayasuriya, ponting, garner, pollock, kapil, murali, mcgrath, bevan, lara and warne; and probably in that order.

he will be in the top 15 in all likelihood. i had gilly at 1. but i dont expect him to be the top player on the list, though.I had Lamb at no 22.Kallis wont be so high.He is overrated as an odi player.
He will be in the top 15 but not top 10.You are right about the top 15 players.he will be in the top 15 in all likelihood. i had gilly at 1. but i dont expect him to be the top player on the list, though.
Actually after rechecking my list,I am surprised to see Symonds in the top 25. His bio here tells a lot. A little surprised that Zaheer crept in despite playing only 60 odd ODIs. Also surprised that Saqlain only ended up at 21. Although that might be because Ikki and Maximus (despite having Saqlain's name in his sig) forgot to put him in. One of the greatest ODI bowlers of all time.
Nah, it's Viv then Sachin. Kallis is not going to be number 3. Bevan too low.i expect the top 15 to be made up of sachin, viv, kallis, wasim, gilchrist, jayasuriya, ponting, garner, pollock, kapil, murali, mcgrath, bevan, lara and warne; and probably in that order.

I had him at #19.Kallis really being overrated if he gets in the top 10, for mine.
A fair assessment I think. Although I didn't rate them in this order. I feel Murali has a strong shot at top 5 too.Ponting should be top 5 as well IMO.
My top 5 in no particular order : Viv, Sachin, Ponting, Wasim, McGrath.
Yeah, Murali, Garner and Pollock very unlucky to miss out. Actually the top 10 have nothing to separate them IMO.A fair assessment I think. Although I didn't rate them in this order. I feel Murali has a strong shot at top 5 too.
Interesting.Ponting should be top 5 as well IMO.
My top 5 in no particular order : Viv, Sachin, Ponting, Wasim, McGrath.
For some reason Jayasuriya comes a little lower for me maybe because he fell away somewhat in the later part of his career and was not so great in the beginning.Yeah, Murali, Garner and Pollock very unlucky to miss out. Actually the top 10 have nothing to separate them IMO.
I would rephrase that as:
My top 10 in no particular order :
Viv, Sachin, Ponting, Wasim, McGrath, Murali, Pollock, Jayasuriya, Gilchrist, Garner.
I expanded my "top 5 in no particular order" to "top 10 in no particular order" and still couldn't find a place for Bevan. ****, this is hard. No wonder I did not send a list to NUFAN.For some reason Jayasuriya comes a little lower for me maybe because he fell away somewhat in the later part of his career and was not so great in the beginning.
It's amazing how good Joel Garner's stats are.Top 5 to be:
1 & 2: Viv/Sachin
3. Garner
4. Murali
5. Wasim
It sure is hard. That much is for sure.I expanded my "top 5 in no particular order" to "top 10 in no particular order" and still couldn't find a place for Bevan. ****, this is hard. No wonder I did not send a list to NUFAN.
