lolwut? All of SA's interlopers weren't getting picked where they were. SACA hasn't poached anyone.

Besides, SA's U/17's won the thing a couple of years ago and none of them are getting picked in the state side or dominating grade cricket here yet so under-age success is no guarantee.

Rob Cassell is as close to a poaching as you'd get, to be fair. CV employed him and set him up while he was retired/recuperating for 3+ years, and then they offered him a one year contract.

Copeland in the squad tonight... oh noes. Will be forced to pick him for the Cheesy Challenge.

Haha, I love O'Keefe. Best guy.

Coyte's 20/20 bowling average is now 220 iirc. Fits nicely.

Also, there's a Daily Telegraph ad with Steve Smith. :)

Far out our bowling's **** tonight. Cummins is a rookie, O'Keefe and Copeland are no good at T20, and Coyte's just plain dire.

Reckon it's not bad with the exception of Coyte. Copeland needs to stop bowling slower balls every delivery, O'Keefe is quality and Cummins has been fantastic. Plus we have Clark who normally brings the goods, and Henriques is tops with his new slower-ball stock ball.

Far out, Cummins looks quicker than when I saw him last.
Today was the first time I saw him bowl and the lad looks a pretty good bowler for a 17 year old, gotta say have been very impressed with the kind of young talent that has been coming through for the Blues.
As for game I think Blues really made a meal of it as there is no way they should have lost after that opening partnership, was a very good innings from Rohrer though, kind of reminiscent to his innings in the Big Bash final couple of seasons ago.
Also what's up with making Hughes bat in the middle order...!? As it is he seems totally out of touch, but on top of that to make him bat in different position is only gonna make things worse for him.

Yeah I remember you saying Cricket Vic were a bit annoyed that they'd supported him while he was crocked only for him to leave.

Not that it really matters but do you know whether Cassell only started looking around after being offered that contract or whether SACA approached him? Because the former wouldn't be poaching. :p

Not that I'm suggesting SACA are too ethical to be sounding vulnerable players out. Just don't think it's that tempting an offer to come here unless you're not getting a go where you are and your prospects are really bad!

Hughes batted at 3, is always out of touch and the opening partnership worked. Hughes is lucky to be in the XI..

If he is not in good touch then just drop him its as simple as that. Hughes has played some very good knocks for the Blues when he has opened the batting in the T20 format along with Warner, don't see any sense in changing that combination tbh.

So, bugger all interest in this SA-Qld T20 then?

This young spinner from SA looks decent. Flights it very well.

Lyon looks the most impressive find of the summer. It would be great for South Australia to give him Sheffield Shield gametime.
