Who's to say that we'll see another 4 bowlers in the top 25?Brett Lee far too low. In the top 5 best ODI bowlers of all time. His record speaks for itself.
In fairness, he may not. His control in one dayers wasn't great, and there's a good chance people might look at the economy rate with him. Would put him in my top 50 however.Again, top effort NUFAN.
I'm now petrified imagining a scenario where Waqar won't make it.
Yeah but IIRC in terms of balls bowled, He was ahead by a good distance to make it to 400 wickets. In fairness, he may not. His control in one dayers wasn't great, and there's a good chance people might look at the economy rate with him. Would put him in my top 50 however.
Allan Donald at 27 and Miandad at 26. I thought those too would make the top 25 of almost everyone. FTR the ICC greatest ODI bowlers ever list released in 2002 had Wasim at 1, Donald at number 2 and Waqar at number 3 IIRC.Again, top effort NUFAN.
I'm now petrified imagining a scenario where Waqar won't make it.

Completed players! I wouldn't ruin it for you all. What is this??? The players remaining or the players completed so far????
And by the way great work NUFAN. The picture profiles that you give are just too good. Keep up the good work. Still can't get over the fact that Javed and Donald ranked so low.
if waqar doesnt make it to this list i will get an SRS done

True. Does sound like an interesting thread.Waqar and Lee's ODI records are remarkably similar. It would make for an interesting thread to compare them as ODI bowlers.
I remember both those matches and they were rescued from even worse situations than what SA threw away against India recently, except it wasn't due to choking.True. Does sound like an interesting thread.
Was just watching some of the Wasim, Waqar clips from 92-93 tri-seies uploaded by the one and only Robelinda. Waqar's reverse swing yorkers are just awesome. Saw two matches where SA choked from such strong position mainly due to some top notch bowling from the 2Ws.

Very similar. Waqar a little more expensive by the standards of his era.
