So half-volleys are the way to go in England? :p
If we are talking tests ,then fullish good length is always better in England.

Besides i don't think Munaf can handle the workload of a test match in any case. After the inital 10 /12 overs in a day ,the rest of his overs are pretty much useless.

And he is no impact bowler that can run through sides in those 10 to 12 overs.

I would certainly put Munaf ahead of Ishant and would consider giving him a test in the West Indies to see how he does. Don't think he is ready yet but he could be an option if he continues to work on his fitness.

Watching the highlights right now.

Arun Lal for once in his life was right. Why the hell did Graeme Smith take the powerplay when they needed 2.5 rpo with 6 wickets in hand? Could have just cruised to victory.

Plus they had a long tail. Risk was unncessary.

Munaf Patel's interview at the post match press conference

Talking about members of the crowd: "They are from my village. They come to hotel afterwards, so under pressure"

Cricketer Of The Year
He loves his slower balls in ODIs, but it seems to work for him. Good luck to him and his weird ODI style.

Whatever it takes!!!
Haha. We've mastered the art of the bitter/tragic/stoopid loss. So I'll stick around.

As for Albie being left out of the WC squad, I completely agree with the decision. He's appalling with the ball and a rumour with the bat.

Edit: Anyone else think cricinfo is in dire need of a sub-editor? Every article has glaring mistakes in it.
Nah mate.. I am sure you are the good sort.. We have had 2 or 3 though who only seem to show up to take shots at the other team and more stupidly, at the other team's supporters here and then disappear when their own team is given a beating...

Welcome to CW, btw :) You would love all the Kallis love here.. :)
