How were his hundreds? Off poor bowling or just pure jam?
Horrendous bowling by one of the worst bowling line-ups I've seen for the first, the second was actually an alright Innings with some freezing and lots of hits and misses. the scorecard might make it look he played an epic ODI Innings in a team total of 270 but his was the 3rd or 4th wicket to fall after which there was a lolapse, Abu Dhabi pitch as well tbh.

I bow to no-one in my admiration for Zak, but he was too short in that over.

Love watching Duminy bat tho. Hope he gets back to something like form; hints of BC Lara about his cuts.

Christ, Smith is going to have to do it on his own here. Really important to Miller for him to see this one out. wo wickets from the tail now...

Yeah, I wasn't really trying to say they were back in it, just making a game of it. Still, looks likje Dhoni has given up if he has Sharma and Raina twirling away in tandem.

50 required now, should be pretty straightforward.

What do you think of Smith's batting?

Suffice to say I'm not a huge fan of his work. Very, very bottom handed and I hate the way he plants his pad and plays round it.

Works for him tho, so sure he couldn't care less.

Haha, Kallis - WAG tbh.

In that game, 3-29 and 89(97), How the hell did Jadeja win MOTM?

I remember RJ's Innings being lame too in the context of the game, He really didn't try to hit anything in the death. Even if it was a blitzkrieg 22, How the **** did Kallis not win?

Jadeja's 2-29 was more crucial as he bowled his full 10 overs and was almost at a half RPO than rest of the bowlers. RPO of 2.90 for one bowler chasing 299 is lethal in 10 overs.

At the same time Kallis got 2 of his 3 wickets at the end when India was hitting out and also had a RPO of 4.14.

While his innings of 89 was too slow in the context of the game and never looked threatening a win at any stage. Infact reading the reports of the game that middle period where they lost wickets was due to their being too much pressure due to required RPO.

Jadeja's inning was slowish too in the context.

Graeme Smith is someone I have an immensely personal beef with.

I was 12 when I saw my first ever Test.

It was the first day of this one.

I can't begin to describe the mind-crushingly awful experience of that. The fact that I still watch cricket at all is largely a result of trying to forget Grame Smith's batting.
