The only thing that can do a little to lighten up my day is Ingram playing a laughingstock Innings again.

I just had a look at Munaf's ODI record and it's pretty decent actually. He hasn't bowled on the SC flat tracks as much but we should be giving this guy more chances. He has a crap attitude but hopefully he can keep that in check.

What do we think this means so far for South Africa's World Cup side? As much as I like the idea of this four-man pace battery I'm not sure it's necessary, and Parnell isn't up to the standard of the other three recently.

When Kallis comes back (for either Ingram or Miller) it'll add another bowling option, so it'd be worth dropping Parnell in favour of du Pleiss to add to the lower order.

Imran Tahir is an exciting idea as well, maybe if Botha's all-round contributuons are covered by Faf he would be worth trying. I understand Botha's selection as an all-rounder but wouldn't play him as a specialist spinner.

Ganguly making fun of Raina playing back all the time expecting the short ball is spot on.

But it's still funny him having a go at anyone considering his short ball woes

Haha yeah I thought that too, but Raina could learn a lot from the way Ganguly played the short ball. Neither of them had techniques naturally suited to it at all but Ganguly was a resilient bastard who didn't care if he looked awkward, got hit or didn't score for a while. It's a technical weakness you can overcome with mental strength, as Ganguly proved.

Shoddy keeping, tbh. Should've bagged that. Two runs against Nehra's name to rub salt into the wound too.

& now Ingram edges for four. Hardlines, bowler.

Ingram bit of a batting ringer for his skipper, actually. Even more leaden footed if anything.

Woah! That came from nowhere. Shot!

(Although it didn't go nearly as far as Morgan's yesterday, still gets six :@)

Is Nehra bowling his way out of the side here? Poor stuff from one end, changes ends, gets hoiked for six. And after he wasn't trusted to open.

Edit: Much better to find the edge. But he really needs to be tighter than this.

Sotters def has a fast bowler's aris. But diamond stud earrings on men = powerful, powerful fail.

Fat Gray looks in good nick, he said in no way attempting a jinx.
I had to google "aris". It is a silly word.

*discretely removes diamond studs*
