I do not have access to the internet over the weekend so I have given my preferences to weeman for this round.

There are 2 very good batsmen to choose from. But I choose Mike Procter over them to share the new ball with Adcock, and to bat at no. 7 after Kapil. My pace bowling department (Adcock, Procter, Snow, Kapil) is now strong beyond imagination, and my team bats deep with Evans at no. 8.

I believe I can find 2 good batsmen in the later rounds (for positions 1 and 5).

Kanhai very much deserves to bat above Richardson. And since Abbas isn't the best batsman in your side against swing and bounce in testing conditions, I would rather like to see Kanhai at no. 3.

Although I really should pick a fast bowler.... I can't go past Ricky Ponting. Despite his recent form slump, I still rate him as one of Australia's 3 greatest batsmen.
