How would you rank the bowling attacks in world cricket as of today ?

nah SA has a superior attack.

2 drawn series away to Ind.
This Eng attack has to produce in Asia.
Oh and there is a small matter of a test series vs ind in about 6 months time.
Me get's a feeling Cook Trott Swann and Jimmy are going to struggle.

Reckon West Indies are getting under-rated. At full strength they're quite good, it's just that Edwards has a long-term injury and Taylor isn't really fit enough for tests.

That's not under-rating them though; that's just recognising that the attack they're likely to send out for any one game isn't very good. Sreesanth bowls like an all time great bowler more often than the West Indies send out a full strength attack.

True, but people are also taking into account Amir/Asif for Pakistan, who may never play again.

What's happened to Rana Naved? Many people doesn't rate him, but he's a classy swing bowler. Could be the man to lead the Pakistan attack.

What class???? True that he could bowl some good swinging yorkers but he would give in a lot of 4 balls in between and he wasn't that great with the new ball. Also he fell out of favor with the big Butt (Ijaz) and now is trying to salvage his @**

I think he fell out of favour with the selectors after this.

Looks lot better than Gul IMO with the new ball. He was sensational in his last Aus tour but was terribly unlucky with dropped catches. More I see him, more I feel that he was not properly handled, especially in the longer format.

Gul is more talented IMO and has more pace as well although he is very erratic in his performance. One day he will be world class and the next day he will be pedestrian. Gul has been unlucky with catches too. Rana on the other hand was rarely world class.
