Can any one tell me about RP Singh and Irfan Pathan ??? Are they fit to play or not ?
I am not really sure if this is true but Irfan is disliked by MSD (?), Chirayu Amin ( Baroda Cricket Association ) and some others.

Thats the reason why Irfan wanted to get shifted to Mumbai for Ranji season as well.

If we believe Yusuf then he says that Irfan will be back pretty soon, he is working really hard on his bowling.

For some reason we've developed this habit of losing matches with big margins... It's hard to explain as well. I just hope it doesn't happen in the WC lol

Great knocks by AB and Duminy....

But the Saffers may want to look for replacements for Ingram and Miller
Kallis will slot in for Ingram but Miller needs Albie at 7 or the knowledge that what's coming next can also win games with the bat.

Sigh. Looks like India really missed Jadeja today.
They did. South African batsman couldn't get him of the square last time they faced him in India. Was the difference from South Africa chasing down 400+ totals. India should consider going in with just Zaheer as their only quick here. Losing Kumar was a huge blow.

Congratulations SA. Almost flawless performance, and Tsotsobe was quite brilliant with the bounce he was able to extract. On these pitches against this attack, I really don't expect much from our batting if Tendulkar goes early. Was a rather depressing reminder of the 2006 ODI series in SA.

Series result is pretty meaningless. India will still go into the WC regardless of a possible hammering in a good place with a ridiculously strong batting line-up + good bench batting strength and a decent attack for subcontinent conditions. South Africa on the other hand are playing four genuine quicks which is likely to be two too many for the WC and their number 1 spinner isn't getting wickets or stemming the flow of runs.

Ideally South Africa should be focusing on areas of their game where they need to be tested at. So bowling first, seeing who can operate at the death and not concede 30 runs from two overs and whether they can chase down totals in the face of 30 overs of spin. If the wickets are anything like Kingsmead then South Africa will walk this series and just go into the WC under a false sense of security.

They should try Imran Tahir in this series. It will be a baptism of fire playing against the indian line-up
