Really? I'm of the opinion that his presence in the team is holding back Chawla, Ojha, Ashwin etc. Just done some Statsguru on him and he averages a tick under 35 for the last four years in ODI's. That shows that his mediocre form has probably stretched out longer than most people imagine.Damn, it would be terrible if Harbhajan got injured.
I'd have more faith in him in a big WC knockout match than any of those other guys though..Really? He is keeping it pretty tight though. Think of the pitches he's been playing on in those four years.Really? 72 games not big enough a sample size for you?Harby hasn't played too many ODI's over the last few years
AWTA, MWV ftwIf he really does have an epic failure of a series it might open the door for MVW.
When do SA announce their World Cup squad? Is there enough time for this series to even really matter?
Compared to Raina who's played what 90-95 odd ODI's since mid 08 no. The point was that harby has missed a fair few ODI's (we play A LOT so it may not seem like it) over the last year and a half and he hasn't done anything to be left out.72 games not big enough a sample size for you?
Post T20 WC 2010 here are all the ODI's that India played which Bhajji missed."Hasn't done anything to be left out"? He's played a large number of games and has done averagely tstl. Ashwin comes into the side and straight away performs and yet Harbhajan is still seen as the number 1 spinner. Odd tstl.
