*Official* Fifth Test at the SCG

Show some bloody ticker, COME ON. Siddle has always impressed me with the bat, he should always bat above Johnson- who bats same as he bowls, comes off once a year. Sids has a good technique, good batting brain too, doesnt slog and has a nice range of shots. SHOW SOME FIGHT.

Steve Smith gets into some horrible positions when he's batting. I'm all for unorthodoxy, but everything about his balance and footwork is wrong.
I like it, I think it's his distinct lack of technique or apparent star quality that makes him endearing. Much like Phillip Hughes. I shouldn't like him, because he's Australian, but his technique is so shot, it makes him an underdog, and that makes me want him to succeed. Smith has copped a lot of flak too, and that makes me want to see him smack a big unbeaten score here. Come on Steve!

Siddle gone. Swanneh with the breakthrough. Siddle's a massive bell-end, but fair play to him, showed more determination to score runs than most of the proper batsmen.

About time.

Well played Siddle. Has earned a LOT of respect from me this series, which I'm sure will mean the world to me.

Geez, Siddle's come of age this series. Two bags of 6 and more runs than some of the top-order.

Yep, he's a determined bugger. Earlier in the series Boycott was banging on about how the Aussies are "6 out, all out" but having seen Siddle bat before I thought that was a load of crap.

I'm the opposite when it comes to Smith, watching him bat is like having my teeth pulled.

Oh no mate, how could you. Don't like him in Test cricket at all at the moment.

First change after this series should be Siddle gathering our top order in the nets and giving them a batting lesson.
