What a ******** shot by McCullum. Yes it went for four, but he could have so easily spooned it straight to the man at point.

Was about to say Taz is the exact opposite of Sehwag.

Sehwag bats aggressively and if it works it's good for the side obvsiously but if he's out without doing much is 'the way he plays'.

Think we can make the same accommodations for McIntosh but re: defensiveness and soaking up deliveries.

Guptill in in the second over - dire. Will make at least 30 though imo.

Saw that coming. Oh, Timmy. The problem is that he's so hit and miss he's never more than a couple of bad innings away from being dropped.

Just played slightly across that one McIntosh, well snaffled by Younis.

McCullum offering his obligatory swipes outside off stump. Is it a case of let him do what he does, or does he need to read the situation better and adjust his game accordingly ?

Gul is looking in decent rhythm here.

Not Terrible
My understanding is that the Home side can overrule any objections from the touring party, so NZC definitely played a hand in it, even if it was just honouring PCB's objection.

With these two at the crease the score will more-or-less move up in 4s. Half of which will be edges at the moment.
