When IND last toured here in 2007, i was fairly confident that would have been Tendys last visit to this country. But it looks he may very well & be back here for this series & conincidentally it will be first time he will be facing a quality ENG attack in English conditions compared to crap he faced in 91, 96, 2002 & 2007.
pretty sure this would be tendy's last chance to have a shot at a ton in lords.

I am going to be in England at the time, and at every test match.

Cannot wait.

Yeah kudos.

I rated Tremlett on the 2007 series against India as well. Bounced at Sachin quite well.

Obviously not strongly enough to voice my disdain at Finn's selection. But the minute Tremlett was selected he went straight into my fantasy team

Yeah, Indian fans have always rated Tremlett because they actually saw him play Tests, unlike fans of every other country who have just seen him get smashed around in ODIs.

Gun. It's been a while since we've played at Edgbaston, and that ground generally produces epic matches.

We haven't lost at home by more than one Test at since 2001. If we go down 3-1 I will give you the money myself.

Add the fact that we're awesome and it's inescapable - 2-0 England. Anderson will destroy you.

India will win this.

I'll predict a 2-1 to India or even a 3-1.

Though Zaheer's fitness will be crucial.

If Dravid does not retire till then,he will come to the party big time in his favorite touring country yet again.

Meh, already won at England 3 times. I will take the WC and a 4-0 defeat at England. If Zak plays the whole WC, he will be injured for the tour anyway. Not hoping for much. Hope we send a 2nd XI to tour, resting all our WC winning players.

Hmm.. having a few doubts about Dravid TBH. I think his strokeplay has completely dried up these days and even if he bats well, he'll probably only get an Akash Chopra-esque 45(120). Seems to bat better on slow Indian wickets these days, particularly against weaker attacks like NZ.

Should blood Kohli into the team with Pujara in this series. Like how Dravid and Ganguly were introduced to the team almost simultaneously in the 90s.

Tbf, Though ZAK playing or not playing the world cup makes not too huge of a difference .

While him not playing in England will make a massive one.

lolwut? Our best bowler not playing the WC not making much difference? He is the guy with a plan whenever we bowl.

Zaheer continues his alarming run of underappreciation.

India's best quick bowler by miles and miles. Would walk into any team in the world, Test or ODI.
