*Official* India in South Africa

Wow. The last two sessions have been like a horror story from the imagination of the most paranoid Indian fan. Guess we still have a small chance for a draw if we bat really well. But horribly disappointing that we let a possible series win slip away in the third innings of the decider yet again.

I don't like Arun Lal, but he's spot on.

The biggest moment in Indian cricket history (probably bar 83 World Cup, which did amazing things for Indian cricket) was within their grasp, and the fast bowlers were found wanting.

Dhoni escapes criticism once again for some reason.

Is Ghambir allowed to open? How did he injure himself, i completely missed that.

Anything less than a 100 run opening stand will leave us feeling a bit awkward. Draw is the only realistic chance for India. Win is too far out of reach.

India conceded 100 runs far too many. Dhoni has demonstrated a stunning lack of tactical acumen.

It annoys me no end that outside of CW, Dhoni never gets criticized for his **** captaincy and Sree and Ishant are regarded as future ATGs in the Indian media whenever they do well and not ripped a new one whenever they do their usual thing.

Hahaha, Graeme Smith makes MS Dhoni look like Steve Waugh, doesn't he ? Abysmal captaincy, really.

So, where does the match go from here ? South Africa seem to be overwhelming favourites to win; everything is in their favour : opposition are down to six proper batsman, last day pitch, world record chase needed for a victory, Dale Steyn etc.

Still, I would like to see India go for the win. The pitch isn't easy to bat on, but it does seem to have eased out a little. If they somehow manage to survive Dale Steyn's spell with the new ball, they are in with a chance. This will most certainly be the last series in South Africa for the 'big three' - a little added incentive to go for it.

By the way, only 330 overs have been bowled in this match so far ? Will they get some extra overs in tomorrow to make up for it ?

I am dreaming of getting the old wall back saving our arses tomorrow, doesn't look probable I must admit...

But if it happens, it'll be an emotional moment for me, for sure...
