This is basically Dean Jones' Chennai Innings on a highly bowler friendly pitch against a better bowling line-up and without puking 9000 times.

India have zero chance to win anymore obviously. SA can keep the RR down and/or slow down the over rates if India are getting close.

The turning point in this game was when Boucher walked in and the game was for the taking, and Ishant Sharma bowled nonsense.

Will be interesting to see India's approach to this tomorrow, and SA's decision to declare if they get the opportunity. I guess the Sehwag factor is in play, but if they manage to dismiss him cheaply, then 320 off 80 overs is a big ask.

I don't understand why South Africa aren't declaring. Surely they would want to have a crack at the Indian batsmen tonight ?

No chance. SA can easily restrict the run rate if they choose, or cut down the over rates.

A hundred runs a go, maybe. Now, no way. Zero. Draw would be what India are playing for now.
