Sachin tries to play his shots and is almost out twice.

kingjulian, this is not the solution!
I think, if India are behind by more than 120 runs when the new ball is due, SA would be still in with a chance. If Sreesanth can take wickets with the new ball, i'm pretty sure Steyn and Morkell would back themselves to get some.

They should be scoring at at least 4 an over against these two , and that is not a big ask for a batsman of Tendulkar's class and shot making ability.

If they prefer to bat slow, then they have to make sure to score big such that India bats only once in this test, if not they have to score at a higher rate. 2.85 runs an over is not good enough for a victory. This is not a low scoring match.

Bad luck Gambhir, but good knock. Gritted.

The ball is spitting outside off from the left hander now. Going to be good for Bhajji.

He was bowling it too wide to charge imo. The rough patch did him in, all harris had to do was put the ball there.
Yes he was,but he got out chasing outside off to a straight one.

It wasn't turning every ball really and even if it was he should have been covering inside the line rather than going wide strangely.

SA have no part time bowlers. So rare in test cricket nowadays.
Doesn't Smith bowl off spin?

Speaking of part time bowlers ,with Raina and Yuvraj dropped and Sehwag unlikely to bowl here India don't have one except Tendulkar who hardly bowls these days.

Sachin don't get out trying to be cheeky against a part timer in peterson here.

It's better to smash him around if you want to attack him.

Sachin love may annoy people, Sehwag may not be everyone's cup of tea, Dravid may be too slow and Ganguly was a **** to everyone...

... but you just gotta love Laxman. WAFG!
