Watson and Hughes doing an excellent, disciplined effort for their side so far in seeing of this new ball. There's still plenty of encouragement for the quick bowlers, so they'll need to maintain their patience and discipline and not revert to type just yet.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I've never rated Hughes, probably because whenever I've seen him he looks like ****, but so far, this innings, he is looking good I have to say. That backfoot drive was a thing of beauty. Swann on after drinks, IMO, not Jimmy.
