*Official* India in South Africa

Manee

Cricketer Of The Year
India are bowling quite badly though. Lots of loose deliveries and for some reason they're way down on pace.
India have been down on pace for ages. Zaheer at 128kph is pretty standard, Sreesanth at 130kph, outside of his one good spell per year is pretty standard and Ishant is perhaps 2kph below his usual 135kph opening burst.

Settle down, there's been 21 overs... *shakes head*
What did I say that was rash?

Ishant hasn't been great either, really. Little too short, little too wide, the odd complete pie and down on pace. Although it was a perfect delivery to get Alviro.
Ishant has far exceeded my expectations today. However, I guess that just shows how low they are. I hope Ishant and Sreesanth do not continue this bollocks of performing one after the other and being absolutely abhorrent, the next Test - this way, both of them will be in the team for a long time without us having a good bowling line up.

Trying to slow down to get swing and good lines, but the line has been far worse compared to the awesome consistency in Durban.

Odd
It's not really odd - accuracy is as much about rhythm as pace is, so if you mess with it and try to bowl slower than your normal action, you'll just bowl slow, inaccurate pies.

The only odd thing about it is that bowlers actually think it'll work mid-spell.
To be honest, I've seen Zaheer bowl spells looking as dangerous at 127kmh as he has at 134, he's a smart bowler who bowls to the conditions.

There you go, edited just for you.

I wish people could take a joke, sometimes. Was no ill-meaning in it, I love the man.
Sarcasm in text doesn't work dood

Sreesanth looking like he's bowling better line and shape here, despite that boundary.... and as I speak a wide pie down the leg side...

Even though Amla is carving these for four, at least Sree is pitching them up.

Zaheer's boundaries were poo on leg stump.

The run-rate has really picked up now. Even if India don't pick wickets, they should stop the boundaries and control the run-rate.
