I like watching Amla bat, but seriously perplexed as to why he hasn't been done over more often on the drive. he barely leaves the crease and just pokes at it outside off stump with half his weight transferred, He must have an outstanding eye and quick reflexes.
Used to happen heaps in 2006.

Test cricket like this is grand isn't it ?

I suppose over his career Prince is a fair overachiever, dogged however, probably not the worst option at that time.
It's how Test cricket should be, bowlers that execute their skills and put the ball in the right areas will be rewarded as will the batsmen that can survive good spells of bowling with their own style and technique and put their stamp on the game.

Beautiful drive from Kallis!

Yes Prince not the worst option at the time by any means. Is a pretty dogged fighter, every side needs one of this ilk.

I hope the ICC are closely watching this series

Sharma looks India's most threatening bowler ,atm.

The pitch is seaming more than swinging .

Nah reckon we're in some trouble. Just haven't hit the right areas enough, and had a tad bit of bad luck. SA are good enough to capitalise now.

India looking dangerous. I have no idea how much more will be played today, but I'd think we should be trying to get two more wickets before SA reach 100. These conditions are really in India's favour, atm. If Steyn, Morkel and Tsotsobe were bowling, I could see them having us five or six down by this point. The ball is seaming all over the place.

Yeah even if you don't fully exploit the conditions you at least deprive the opposition their use. That said India would have really wanted a third wicket by this stage. If there isn't much play today and the sun shines brightly tomorrow India could be in deep trouble.

India are bowling quite badly though. Lots of loose deliveries and for some reason they're way down on pace.
