*Official* - Pakistan in New Zealand 2010/2011

Young is the second best in the country after the no longer an option Baz.
Let's hope Young turns out to be not terrible. Having a keeper who can keep well and bat reasonably at 7 or 8 would do wonders for the balance of the test team at the moment. Might even let us pick the Franklinator.

btw Athlai, must be time you got rid of that abysmal avatar I gave you.

McIntosh and McCullum going along nicely in the tour game. Jeez, this is basically an unofficial test match. Swap Brownlie and Watling for Taylor and Ryder and that's the test team unless Guptill stays at three and Franklin drops out.

We fail at counting though. We have 12 players in the NZ XI.

Not Terrible
I remember in our away series against Pakistan that they designated McIntosh as the big wicket in the New Zealand team, solely because if you don't dislodge him the team will rally around him and we'll get a big score.

TMac is no longer a one big innings per series player.

He is a I'll get a pair in one match and be decent in the rest.

...2 match series...

Hope this isn't Timmy Mac's one big innings of the series. :(
The Seddon Park pitch will probably be pretty lifeless this time of the year, he'll probably score a 150 ball 50 on that pitch. He's no chance at the Basin though, complete write-off.

It's a 12-a-side match :p

Should have put like Reece Young or someone as the number three after that good partnership. We need our starting batsmen in good form coming into the test series.

McCullum really should retire out now. At this stage being out there the entire day is probably not ideal for a recently injured body.

B.Mac so far in this Ajmal over = 466

The game isn't even a FC game. Reckon Vettori should have made a you have to retire at 100 rule.

Maybe he will retire at 200.

McCullum is in insane form atm...its a shame we don't have more tests to play until November. He could really start churning out the runs and start having the record his talent over the years has shown glimpses of.
