*Official* India in South Africa

DWTA. India will set SA 300+ to chase and SA will romp home to a 2-0 series lead.
They have a history of low totals in Durban. India's bowling looked better on day two than SA's on day one and they have a spinner.

Proteas will be disappointed in Steyn failing to penetrate and being a bit expensive in the context of the game.

The pitch does seem to be easing out a bit which is a worry. Hopefully there will be some turn for Harbhajan and also some movement tomorrow morning.

Jeez, give the guy a break. It's like how people get disappointed when Sachin doesn't score a century every match. They're the best in the world, not perfect/Bradman.

Fair point about the spinner though. Harris sucks. As long as the tail and Laxman don't do anything stupid against him, there's no reason the lead shouldn't get to 350 or so. That would be competitive IMO.

Tendulkar was also plumb last test to Harris but umpiring incompetence saved him.
No he wasn't, stop complaining like the commentator. The ball was only 40% in line with off-stump when it hit him on the pad, so it was technically outside the line. Plus, it was going on to hit the top of off-stump which isn't plumb by any means.
UDRS wouldn't have overturned it. They would have gone with the umpire's call.

think 350 is a minimum for us to have any chance
That's defensive. The pitch is playing better now but it's not easy to chase. Look at England last week. 390 odd was probably too tough but they didn't get near it. The psychological factor kicks in. Think SA blew their chance by bowling relatively poorly on day one and batting very poorly on day two. India hasn't batted well either but deserves the big lead.

Last year in Durban England batted as if it was a road and SA was bowled out for 133 to lose by over an innings. They seem to do it tough here. Anyway it makes the last test a good battle with SA under huge pressure given their recent poor home performances. They surely have to improve their thinnish attack though.

No Indian bowler in recent times who does well with the bat goes on to also do well with the ball. Fact.

Zaheer is wasting his mojo out there.

I'm happy we haven't capitulated from a position of strength like Cape Town '07 and the lower order + Laxman have stepped up.. let's hope we can keep this going a bit longer.
