*Official* Fourth Test at the MCG

England has 4 50 scores but no 100 (so far). Has the wicket had something in it all day? It seems to have settled down atm apart from the odd variable bounce.

It's not a minefield, but it's very tough to score on when you bowl tight on a good length.

Australia basically gifted us a 150 run head start yesterday evening by bowling so terribly.

It seems that enough balls do enough when put in a good area to cause throuble. Combine that with the difficulty to score and our bowlers current ability to bowl tight; this lead looks massive.

It seems pretty irresponsible to me. Although if he is that badly out of form, I suppose the best way to find some form would be to 'play his style'. Still, if I were an English fan I'd prefer if he showed some graft and tried his best to ensure that he walks off unbeaten at the close of play today.

I do, but I was offering a predictable and inadequate justification from the England camp for a ridiculous shot from Prior to get himself out.

International Captain
Smith should be bowling, not Clarke. I think this has been the best I've actually seen Smith bowl in an international.

Yeah, I thought he bowled alright yesterday. It would have been nice for the captain to back him with a long spell at one end.
