Clarke is just NOT a #3, as useless as Steve Waugh in that position. He should be at 5. Put a guy at 3 or 4 who has done the job in the top order for his state, I say Usman could be worth a go at 3.

Some great bowling/all round prospects there, but the batting cupboard is pretty much at the "all or nothing" stage, with some fantastic players but noone else of note.

Yeah, Peter Nevill. Admittedly I've never seen him play, but he already has 2 centuries and a half century in 8 innings so he must be doing something right. No idea what he is like as a wicket keeper though. If Maddinson keeps playing like he is, he would be a good replacement for Hussey. Hussey is his idol apparently too.

Unless Hilditch goes, if I was to choose a future squad which I think will be closer to reality it would be:
