Meh, just enjoy the batting here. We're screwed, but we've done all right this innings. Just appreciate Sachin while he's here.

Like this aggresiveness.

Agression makes batting look easier here and that was the point i was making with relation to Dravid earlier.

Lol, yeah. When you have to bat for two days, there are going to be times when the scoring dries up due to good bowling. If the team can't handle that, then they don't deserve to win.
Sometimes scoring dries up and is required to be circumspect.

But this was not one of those occasions or such pitch.

It started before Morkel came on and Harris was bowling the other end.

If i am being pedantic then the current dravid has gotten a bit slower than the previous version and as a result gets himself into holes such as today.
This approach will certainly be required in this test in the future but it was not today. Cannot blame him for that though too much.

Mate, if a bowler is bowling well (and Harris can bowl well. He's not good, but bowlers who aren't good can bowl decently some times) then you can't just plunder boundaries at will. Especially when you're batting to save a match.

Dravid has 0% fault in India's situation. Has copped two good deliveries this match.

You sometimes allow the bowlers to bowl well or not.
And when they are bowling well you have to knock them off their stride.

Harris bowled a really bad leg side first over but India could not capitalise.

And in this current spell Morkel started with a very good first over beating Dhoni thrice but then Dhoni and Sachin managed to knock him and even Steyn off his stride.
Eventually one of them was taken off.

At that time want happened was let alone boundaries even Singles dried up.
Even in that over Dravid got out there was a wide short ball bowled by Morkel which dravid could have cut IIRC, but he was so much into his shell that he didn't.
Maybe then he wouldn't have got the delivery he did or been even more confident to leave it.

I am not saying he is too much to blame but there was a obvious momentum swing at the time due to drying up of singles even.
Both of Sachin and Dravid were becoming twichy and something had to give.

Uhh not sure what the umpire or commentators are going on about. That first LBW shout was easily out live IMO. Clearly in line.

Oh well, some luck for India.

Who cares what it looked like live? The first one clearly hit him outside the line. The 2nd one was going down leg. Both great decisions.
