Good lord I hope Kallis gets his double tonight. Would be a huge injustice if the bloke doesn't end up with one, and would love to be watching (albeit on Cricinfo) when he finally makes it there. Certainly one of the ATG players for South Africa and indeed one of the best allrounders ever.

How on Earth are India the best Test team in the world? This bowling attack is atrocious. Australia's effort at Adelaide would have gone several times better than these jokers. Unadkat? Who? Sreesanth is awful, Ishant's still terrible and Harbhajan isn't good enough to carry this attack in South Africa. Batting line-up might be decent (though they didn't prove that in the first innings), but there's no chance they're the best side in the world with this bowling attack, and the captaincy hasn't helped either. As they just showed on Sky, De Villiers came in, with Sharma bowling, and there were no catching fielders whatsoever, not 1 slip. Pathetic.

Oh, and I got this from WTF_Ben on Twitter too:

"btw did u see sehwag get a duck in south africa ?"

Wish he was still around on here, he'd be gold right about now.

I don't actually think he's banned at the moment; I saw an old post from him the other day and it didn't say "Banned" under it.

Sharma's just putting the ball there at about 78mph. No movement, no bounce.

Kallis treating it with the contempt it deserves.

Bat on for four figures, IMHO. Should still leave a day and a half.

At this rate they should get a couple of overs today in if they go for the third order of magnitude.

The highlights of AB de V's innings in the lunch break were awesome to watch. Boy's utterly in the zone just now.

When did Kallis start wearing a syrup, btw?
Recently - this is his first Test with it anyway. Looks ridiculous IMO; said so before. If it can get him a double ton though then it's worth it. :p

Man it's gonna be weird going onto Kallis' cricinfo page and not seeing 189* as his top-score

Probably because they haven't lost a series in over 24 months.
Who and where was that again? Oh yeah, Australia, the last non-subcontinental Top side they've played an away series against. Funny that.

200 for Jacques Kallis. What a player.
