I swear some posters don't fully grasp the fundamentals of cricket. Just because you're not getting wickets it doesn't mean you're not doing a job. Cricket is all about building pressure, bowling in partnerships and working hard. It's test match cricket ffs.

This. It's why I hate it when posters say 'that wasn't a wicket-taking delivery'. Wickets aren't just caused by the actual delivery, FFS.

Much better bowling from Oz this test. Leaving Beer out could be a series-saving decision?

As said, the pressure created by unrelenting tight bowling certainly contributed into KP playing the shot.

I can see your point! Yet, we do quite often see a wicket fall, without any good bowling whatsoever (not saying we see that today though). Even top batsmen occasionally give their wicket away....., just like that.

you've beat bangladesh and a couple of other average jo's, you're not a bunch of world beaters either. that you've blown a dominant position with a poor showing here will take its toll on you boys for the rest of the series, imo.

maybe no fall out, but we'll see whethere the whole happy go lucky attitude is the same for the rest of the series. we'll see if you smelly ****s are good or not.

Mate, that's not tight bowling. That's ineffective bowling which KP didn't have the brains and the patience to see out.

Edit/ After that wicket he does seem to be bowling a little better though, tbf.
