Hey, four_or_six said yesterday that Johnson never takes wickets in the second dig when he's taken them in the first. Is this true or was she just being an optimist?!

To me it looks like the pitch is starting to flatten out, when was the last time a ball beat the bat?
You have to pitch the ball up to beat the bat, which they haven't done on a consistent basis for mine.

Again there - too short.

True, but there was considerable amount of movement before even when Anderson was bowling it short and wide. I don't like the look of this.

There's bounce though. We saw before lunch that the batsman was still hurried up if the ball was put in the right place. They just haven't bowled well, simple.

Agree with Warne and GIMH. It's a 58-over old ball, the quicks are bowling a bit poorly, what's going on?

I get what you're saying Spark, England's bowlers are tiring out. But this is starting to look like the Gabba, where Hussey survived the tough period and everything started to look easier. But as we later found out that was because the pitch became a highway.

What makes it weirder is that Strauss never hesitates before throwing Swann the ball.

Can only assume the disaster overs last night put him off?

Harbhajan gave cricket equipment to the Zimbabwe team for free because they had **** all. He's not that big a dick off the field I reckon.

Agree that Watson off the field looks like a decent fella.
I never thought that Bhajji was a bad guy. After all, he beat up Sreesanth.

True. But I don't think it is. Almost every ball has been back of a length and quite wide and you're not gonna get anything out there.

That ball was pitched up and didn't swing, true. But the ball is 59 over old... makes Swann's non-appearance even more perplexing.

Oooh that's smashed!

Aus have batted much better here than at any point in the series so far, IMO, including Brisbane

Too ****ing short! Really, this is surprising.

I know it's flat but at this rate we're going to have a huge lead by stumps. England must get their act together here.
