***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2010/11

First Class Debutant
So Mcdonald's now taken 3 wickets for 1 run and now he's injured himself again in the leg and is off injured without completing his over. Sigh

The way McDonald has been batting this year I reckon he'd be a smokey for a test spot. Previously he's been not quite good enough in either department, just an honest cricketer, but he's been on fire this year

I would love to be at Blacktown Oval today (with the test match on the radio) watching Maddinson and Khawaja bat. I hope they make a big partnership and then the rest of the team crumbles.

Can't believe Simpson is back, lol

Tasmania have let Western Australia back into the game. Poor effort with the bat today outside of the 10th wicket partnership.

Hogan is bowling really well this season. I don't think he is much chance of an international career but he makes a very useful swing bowler.

18 year old Nic Maddinson just scored his 2nd ton from 5 games as he fills in for Hughes at NSW....

...Khawaja only got 21 so missed another opportunity to pressure the Aussie middle order

Maddinson looks classy as, lots of time for his shots. Here's hoping he turns into a 70 test player at least.

Played a little bit of cricket against Maddo, so glad he's going well.

Keep an eye on his 16 year old brother. Will be very good too.

I cannot recall a season in recent history more dominated by the ball in Sheffield Shield cricket. Does anyone have a good opinion on what the cause is?

Batting depth is very poor amongst the domestic sides, and few batsman are having heavy run-scoring seasons. Pitches have been green, but I have witnessed enough games played on roads.

So many bowlers are having career best seasons. I notice that Butteworth has picked up another seven wickets for the match against Western Australia. Even the impressive Copeland only just scrapes into the top 20 bowling averages this season. So many remarkable seasons.

Too many ordinary batsman getting a game at the moment.

I seriously think that M Cosgrove is going to have to start being mentioned for Australia again.

What a sequence of events there, Copeland gets out, left to Doug who gets a single putting Hauritz on strike. Next ball smashed for four and there's the ton, epic.

IMO this might be enough for NSW, if they bowl well, they'll dismiss QLD twice.

Hauritz and Copeland can bat also? Wow, Hauritz is doing everything he can to rub the selectors' noses in it.
