As said before, England should take solace from this match at the ground two years ago. Mitch ran through the Saffies, we set them a good score and they knocked it off without too much trouble.
IIRC, that was a very different pitch to this one in that it was pretty flat to start with and just got flatter

There is a lot more grass on this deck (ball is still seaming around now) and whilst that will hold it together, I reckon there will be a little bit in it for the bowlers all match

There's a lot more in this pitch for sure. You look carefully at Mitch's spell, none of them were due to significant seam or swing, which is very present. Much more bounce too.
