On the basis of this innings, he's more of a, shuffle away to leg and free the arms kind of guy. But again, it is just 20/20.

If so, that’s a bizarre signing. Stevens despite being a journeyman does have form in 20/20. Nash is complete meh. Seems to be used as a bowling all-rounder by Otago as well.

First time I've ever seen James McMillan on the TV and he looks really quick for an NZ 32 year old who has apparently been riddled by injuries. Was he quicker when younger, and does anyone who knows more about him than me reckon he could've gone further without the injuries? Pretty ordinary FC record.

Was rated pretty highly when he was younger; there are some really old posts on CW calling him for him to be picked in Tests tbh.

Went to the Auckland game on Sunday, couple of comments:

Boult looked pretty quick
Adams was surprisingly slow
Singh chucks it doesn't he?

Was rated pretty highly when he was younger; there are some really old posts on CW calling him for him to be picked in Tests tbh.

He definitely beat Hodge for pace for most of the over I watched him bowl to him, but by the end of the over Hodge managed to glide a couple of boundaries either side of 3rd man. Impressive because Hodge has been pretty much imperious in NZ otherwise.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. Can't tell the whole 15 degree by eye but it looked pretty sus nonetheless.

Well, the whole point is less than 15 degrees isn't supposed to be visible. This stereotypical post-Murali spinner running up and biffing it was definitely pretty visible.

He is a spinner in NZ, they all have terrible FC averages.

From what I have heard this 'James Mcmillan'
is meant to be the fastest bowler in New
Zealand. This was at the start of the season
though. He was playing Hawke Cup against
South Canterbury for North Otago. I think he
is one for the future!

James McMillan when fully fit is quite quick. But he will probarbly never be fully fit again, Im pretty sure he now only limits himslef to his short run up.

Yeah, he certainly seemed to be putting more into it than Wilson at the Basin the other day. Hopkins took quite a few of his shorter deliveries above head height.

McMillan is back off his long run and proved he is faster than Butler at ND vs Otago in Dunedin on Sunday. Hes nearly at his peak it seems and without injury so far. I say Mcmillan will be up in top 3 by the end of the season
