Can only see England batting half an hour to try and add some quick runs then get them in. Still be virtually 90 overs remaining in the day.

why's bell slogging, he can play beautiful cricket shots to all parts. Don't know why he needs to undermine his game and get less runs for it. He did the same in Brisbane.

England have played good cricket so far but i don't get the negative mindset it shows that lack of a killer instinct which makes you a great team every balk England bat now is effectively seeing us one balk closer to drawing this match

Well they're three overs we are going to lose regardless now. Plus they were talking about options to roll the pitch etc
Those three overs are an investment, we need to see a return on that investment and that means batting for 30 mins at least.

I think it's the wrong decision, with rain around I'd want to maximise our time for bowling them out. And even if (big if) they score 450, that'd gives us 150-odd to chase down in 2 sessions, against a broken attack - I'd back us to do that every time

And first ball disappears

Oh and he's got him

Where's Clarke? Odd to see the Katman at slip. Good on the Katman for the catch, liven up a miserable match for him.

And what an innings.

Played KP, very good knock with really good signs for the future.

I'd quite like to see Swanny come in and thrash it around a bit, but Prior's going to have to hit a quick 20 and **** up his Test average in the hunt for a few quick runs for the team

Actually quite pleased for Doherty to get that wicket. Never nice to see a guy with such a horrendous average.

I mean its still horrendous but slightly less horrendous.

My Sky Player painfully slow tonight, pretty frustrating. Just seen the wicket though, pretty poor shot, but an awesome knock. KP is back :D
