Just enough rain to juice up the pitch when Anderson & Co comes for a second haul.
Bingo

Mind you, it could go the other way and only serve to keep the pitch together for longer

Either way, Oz are stuffed in all likelihood

Now that vic has pointed it out I can't help but cringe every time I see Clarke's dismissal. Get that front leg bent son!

They could declare right now. They are not going to make up the deficit and set any sort of imposing total and then bowl England out from here.

Maybe add 50 more runs and declare - just in case rain takes out significant portions of the next two days, they might need all the time.

Finally got my laptop fixed so I can get back to posting.

This is real dire viewing and bowling for an Australian fan. England's batting has just been too strong on this flat pitch which Australia's batting failed completely on. KP's ton was pretty good to watch though, even as an Aussie.

I hate it when it rains in cricket full stop. I'd rather lose the match or for play to keep going then for ****ing rain to save us.

Really doubt this rain will save us. They are only passing showers, and any time lost will just mean an earlier start tommorow and/or the next day.

Bucketing down in Norwood at the moment, could be a dire day the ground tomorrow if the overcast conditions favour swing :@

Either that or he'll play another ten Tests before being dumped with an average of 100. Selectors seem to vacillate between intransigence and indecisiveness at the moment.

The little girl's intransigence cost her the spelling bee.

depends what you prefer a pie floater or a dart machine.
Well, I did always think the arm ball was supposed to be the variation, not the stock delivery.

Marcus North has clearly been the best Aussie spinner on show in these two tests. North ---> #8 next test and play as a specialist bowler.

Would be a bloody good #8, pulling out a hundred every four tests or so.

Showing the Adelaide highlights from 06-07. Predictable but I don't mind one bit if only to see this XI on the field again. I'll be amazed if I see a "better" in terms of watchability XI in my life.

Im taking the kids swimming today. Told them that they had to wait for the end of the cricket. What is the weather looking like? Will they get back on today? Am I safe to leave the house now as the kids are whining?
