*Official* Second Test at the Adelaide Oval

King Pietersen

International Captain
Been a good over from Harris. Has KP in trouble with the short stuff, and has now nipped Cook out. Superb stuff from Cook though, another brilliant knock. Bell in at 5 please.

Harris is a pretty good bowler IMO - good lines and sharpish

With a bit of luck he could have had a few more as well

Shame he didn't get to 150 but job done by Cook. Been a superb knock, let the others smash it to all parts of Adelaide now and really rub it in. Good ball by Harris to be fair.

Definitely worth a bit of short stuff against KP, if he does start getting hold of them with the short square boundaries, then change plans. He does sometimes look vulnerable as he constantly comes onto the front foot, and does pull/hook off the front foot. At times he will take it on and it does give the bowlers a chance.

Cook gone, wow, what's he playing at ? Poor, poor batting, get him dropped!!!

Briony

International Debutant
Expected a bigger celebration from KP there. Well done to him for keeping it relatively restrained, he still knows there's work to be done.

Supreme knock too by the way. Only that one false shot first off to Doherty and since then never looked remotely in trouble.

Maybe a realises it's not a huge achievement making a ton against these pie chuckers. At least they've played him into form. No doubt he enjoys the flat Adelaide pitch.
