*Official* First Test at the Gabba

In order for Australia to win by 10 wickets we'd have to score enough runs to make them bat again. I highly doubt that's gonna happen after a day like today.

On a serious note though, it really is a test of 'new England' now; somehow escape this Test with a draw and i'll actually believe we've turned a corner and we aren't just the same old bottlers we've always been.
Nah it'll be classic England 'playing their natural game' rather than digging in for the long hall.

I'm rating Broad above Finn there, he was indeed excellent yesterday and pretty good first up this morning as well.

I have grave reservations about our ability to get to stumps unscathed. I almost expect at least two victims here.

I do agree, but to be fair to Finn he has put a good shift in. Someone had to take them eventually.
He has, and he's not bowled too badly... but compared to Anderson's and Broad's spells this morning and yesterday, you can't say that the spoils have been distributed equitably.

EDIT: My fantasy team is awesome, four ducks.

bit harsh on the lad, hes troubled all the batsmen, how close was he to getting Hussey first ball?
Put in a good shift, well done finny
