Sigh, not at all concerned about our bowling, and wasn't really too worried about the batting given I assumed Clarke was fit enough to play. With Clarke playing unfit though....North will want to score runs in the 2nd dig.

Yeah, it's amazing how long our batsmen can underperform. Ponting much below career average, Hussey much below career average, North much below his FC average, Watson much below his FC average, Katich much below his FC average etc.

No way mate, their batsmen are way ahead of ours on form and confidence. We have big names that haven't been performing for a while, that's about it. In terms of batting, we're easily 5th in the world right now.
