SA did not do well in the ODI's but managed to pull it through. However I think that they were unlucky to draw the first Test. Ah well, they're going to take the series anyway. I love Steyn and De Villiers massacring the Pakistani bowlers. I hope De Villiers het his double century.

SA fan here, true abt the ODI series. However, I do not think that we were unlucky to draw the test. credit has to go to the pakistani batsmen for the way they batted. we didnt put enough pressure on them and the dropped catches didnt help. recently SA have struggled to bowl teams out in the 4th inns like india, england and now pakistan.

Always liked AB.I think of him like Bell and Clarke as when they get runs it is generally a joy to watch in much the same way as a young Tendulkar was.All the shots and plays them classically.Getting his average up to where it should be now and has the talent to improve it even more.

Thanks fezzie.

What you say can be true, but I did not see the first test. Actually what I meant by unlucky was that SA should have wrapped it up. Well De Villiers got his double century now and SA is looking good on 568/9 at tea day 2. De Villiers on 263(410) and Morne Morkel on 34(35). It does not look as if SA want to win this because they are still batting on.

Well, I got out when Steyn fell, wondering if SA would take it to 500 or not..... Now they're close to 600.

What's the highest tenth wicket stand in test cricket anyway?

Edit: And when I post, Smith declares....

smith-AB-morne kallis boucher all buddy buddy.
so called clique ..as gibbs mentioned.

I think SA wouldve declared a lot earlier, however, as it was AB, he was given a chance by his good friend Smith.

PS: was hoping biff would let him get a triple...damn. morne was awesome.

I think Smith delayed the declaration a bit because AB en Morné were going at a good rate, and also because if he had declared earlier, everyone would have been saying that he was a **** for protecting his own record.

I hope we can get 20 wickets this time around...
