hopefully SA scores 600 bowling first was a disgraceful decision yes there was something in the pitch but an international side you should back its self to survive the first hour against quality test match bowling.

Even without Mohammad Aamir and Mohammad Asif, Pakistan's stronger suit is bowling by far. You always have to play to your strengths.

No its not in this game apart from Gul none of them first teamers the batsman should have been on a high from the last game you always beat first in sub cont unless there are extreme circumstances and Pakistan strength has always been get the runs on the board and then defend.

Their bowling attack for this game was Gul, a debutant, the worst regular specialist bowler in Test history and a left-arm version of Nathan Hauritz. Their batting is bad but I don't think it's any worse than their bowling lineup in this match.

Under-appreciated innings, this, like so many of Kallis's. South Africa get sent in and Kallis comes out at 6/2. Shortly after, they're 33/3. Kallis peels off a ton. No-one cares.

Haha, so do I. But I can just imagine the sort of over-the-top praise we'd be seeing on here if Tendulkar or Ponting had played that innings. Kallis, as always, under-appreciated.
