14 overs for 33 is a very good return on a good batting pitch from Johnson. Perhaps confirming a suspicion I have that he's a confidence player and his making a 100 may well lift his bowling.

Johnson said that himself in an interview on CA's site. At least one of our players may be in some kind of form for the first test.

Bollinger just got bitch slapped and Tasmania win the game 9 down. Hauritz dropped Maher in the slips when Tasmania needed about 15.

Manouuuuuu. From all indications, totally out of form until now and has just hooked the bloke who's taken 11 for the match for 6. WAFG.

I hope Hussey scores runs, tbh. I don't think he'll score enough to save his spot in the Test side anyway.

EDIT: 12 for Swan.

Yeah, I don't think how many Hussey scores in this innings will have a huge bearing on whether he's picked or not. They'll either pick him because they're stubborn and gutless (and err.. "want experience") or they'll drop him because he's seriously declined to a point where he's not Test standard anymore. Scoring runs in this innings won't change that, but hopefully he does score some runs so he can go in with some form if they do the unthinkable.

Knowing Australia, it probably will. They'll think that Hussey was actually good and was merely out of touch. Particularly given that Usman might not get a real bat due to England raping in the tour match.
