Gave Scaly quite the mouthful, footy thread.lol, how did ginger get banned?
My bet for any Pom goes by each toss. If Aus wins the toss I choose your avatar till the next toss and vice versa over the length of the series.
Couple of months each I reckon.Avatar for a year for me, any period of time greater than a month for yours.
That confident.
Any takers?Johnson will end up with a better bowling average (or more wickets - either or...) than Swann - 2 months - English only (if either player is injured - and cannot take part in at least 3 games - deals off)
Right then - me vs GFHow about:
2 points per test win
1 point for whichever country has the most centurions (over the series)
1 point for whichever country has the highest wicket taker (over the series)
1 point for series win
.5 for Highest scorer each match
.5 highest wicket taker each match
More skill related instead of byes etc. Do like the duration stipulation.
EDIT or alternatively, just a straight up Whoever wins/retains bet.
Okay TC, I win - I'm not great at making avatars but here's your new one for the next 2 monthsWell, if I'm going to do this, let's do it right. My bet; KP won't score a ton in this series. Any takers?
Probably on innings scores for the batters - bit unfair for your lot if Hussey get's a second dig and overtakes KP's total.ripper, are we going for match figures or innings figures when we're deciding top run scorer and wicket takers in a match?
2 points for the winRight then - me vs GF
no points for the draw
Furball takes an early 3-2 lead for the centurions point.
Evens in the highest wicket stakes (be surprised if Siddle or Finn end up with the most tbh)
.5 to furball for highest scorer in match (Cook)
.5 each for highest wicket taker in match (Finn and Siddle)
Furball: 1.0
Ripper: 0.5
Looking good so far tbfI'll bet that Jono's still a **** at the end of the series.
That's looking like a smeller right now....at least Cook didn't score much runs this match.I'll take that for sure.
2 points for the win2 points for the win
5-2 lead in the centurion stakes
Looking good in the leading wicket-taker stakes, with Finn, Anderson and Swann all at the top.
.5 for highest run scorer (Pietersen)
.5 for top wicket taker (Swann)
Furball 4
Ripper 0.5
What happens in the event this bet ends up a tie?2 points for the win
5-3 lead to Furball in the centurion stakes
Highest Wicket takers looking more even now
.5 for highest run scorer (Hussey)
.5 for top wicket taker (Harris/Johnson)
Furball 4
Ripper 3.5
